The Hair Transplant Observatory is written and edited by J.M. Leclerc, an independent auditor of care pathways in cosmetic surgery. He analyses the patient experience end to end, from first contact to post-operative follow-up. He previously worked as a healthcare consultant at Deloitte, then led quality and patient-pathway work at Ramsay Santé. His professional background is public on LinkedIn.

The work consists of gathering public information, cross-checking it, and presenting it in a structured, verifiable way. The Observatory is neither a clinic nor a commercial intermediary: it applies the methods of care-pathway auditing to the hair transplant market.

Independence and no conflict of interest

No clinic can buy its place, and we take no referral commission. Every clinic is assessed on the same criteria, in France and abroad. A high Google or Trustpilot rating is not proof of quality: we encourage readers to be vigilant and to dig into the reviews rather than trust the average, and we point to independent sources. We describe what can be verified and say what cannot.

Our method
