Dr Jean-Pierre Gobin (Lyon) Review: FUE Micro-Transplant, Price
#20 of 36
A single-practitioner practice in Lyon's 7th arrondissement, where Dr Gobin states that he personally performs the extraction and implantation, with clear per-graft pricing (around €1.19). The solo-practice format and transparent pricing are both positives. Two caveats: the doctor holds a diploma in anti-aging morphological medicine, not surgery or dermatology, and no independent post-transplant feedback can be found.

Our review
Dr Jean-Pierre Gobin practices out of an individual office in Lyon’s 7th arrondissement. His website describes an FUE micro-transplant where the doctor personally performs both the extraction and the implantation, with a clear per-graft pricing structure that is rare in the Lyon market. These are two points in his favor: price transparency and a format without a large delegated team.
Two reservations, however. Dr Gobin holds a diploma in morphological and anti-aging medicine; he is neither a surgeon nor a dermatologist, which is a factor to weigh depending on how much specialization you require. And, to our knowledge, there is no independent patient feedback documenting the outcome of one of his transplants; he is mostly cited as a consultation address.
Key takeaway: transparent on price and on the doctor’s role; weigh the fact that he is neither a surgeon nor a dermatologist, and ask for already-operated transplant cases.
